WSB Connect, a monthly networking program organized by the Women’s Skills Bureau, gathers women of all nationalities in Riyadh to share experiences.

On April 24, 2019 at the Marriott Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter Hotel, the Women’s Skills Bureau hosted their monthly women’s networking event, WSB Connect. WSB welcomed guest speakers, Janelle Vales-Yasay and Reina Tejano-Berina, founders of the award-winning lifestyle blog, The Pink Tarha, and Sheikha Aldosary, media and communication expert and founder of Saudi Women Stories. The Pink Tarha shared their journey which started as a blog documenting shopping trips around Riyadh and grew into a substantial social media and web presence covering restaurants, travel, lifestyle, and more. The bloggers recently celebrated the 10th year anniversary of The Pink Tarha and attribute much of their success to being passionate on what they do and connecting with their audience.

Later in the evening, Sheikha Aldosary introduced her new project, Saudi Women Stories, a storytelling and educational platform for Saudi women to tell their stories, show their diversity, and present their interesting journeys. Ms. Aldosary encouraged the ladies in attendance to get involved with the project and utilize their skills and resources to help inspire other women.

Following the event, the group enjoyed a tour of the new Marriott Hotel that recently opened inside the Diplomatic Quarter.
