Governor of Riyadh Region Patronizes the King Faisal School 2018/2019 Closing Ceremony

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the governor of Riyadh region, has patronized the closing ceremony of the King Faisal Schoolís high school students: The 24th Cohort. The ceremony was attended by a number of Royal Highnesses, VIPs and esteemed guests; and was honored by the presence of HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal, HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Space Commission, HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the General Sport Authority, and H.H. Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khaled, Chairman of King Faisal School and General-Secretary of King Faisal Foundation.

The graduation ceremony began with a march for graduates and faculty members. After playing the national anthem and reciting few verses from the Holy Quraían, the superintendent, Mr. Martin McElhone, delivered an inspiring speech in which he thanked the governor of Riyadh region for sponsoring the ceremony and taking care of this important and precious occasion. He also expressed his pleasure for the graduation of 53 students praising their hard work and great efforts with the support of their parents.

The speech was followed by a pre-school performance, and then a Nabati poem was delivered by student AbdulAziz Al-Sudairi. The graduates were then received their graduation certificates by the patron of the ceremony, HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. Afterwards, the students performed a Saudi traditional dance, the A’radah, expressing their excitement and pride.

At the end of this ceremony, H.H. Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khaled Al-Saud, Chairman of King Faisal School and General-Secretary of King Faisal Foundation awarded HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud with a memorial recognition award for his generous patronage of the 2018 Closing Ceremony.
