Find Your Sanctuary at Four Spa

Every glamorous woman knows that having your nails done is a quick ticket to a lap of luxury and style. Without having to get dressed or made up, a finely manicured set of hands and the perfect color of nail polish can speak volumes about your mood, vibe and fashion sense. Four Spa in Al Kindi Plaza has delivered just that to their customers in the last three years since launching its largest nail spa and studio that now includes hair treatments, facials and massages.

Their tasteful interiors include a wall of their lavish nail polish collection, from brands like Essie, CND’s Shellac to the Louboutin signature shades. They also launched popular nail brand Zoya recently, making their number of nail colors and shades to over 400.  When it was my turn to experience their spa manicure and pedicure, it took forever for me to make my decision because there were so many alluring brand and color options! Their professional nail therapists are also known to deliver impressive and consistent work. Every person I know who has been to Four Spa are always of praise for their services; whether you get the same staff member or not during your visit, you can expect that each of their handiwork is as good as the other.

I tried out their Signature Manicure and Pedicure, which included a foot scrubbing, moisturizing, cleaning and putting polish. The women beside me seem to be enjoying their own “me” time as well as we were all being treated in silence, although there is a light music in the background. I chose the Shellac nail polish for longer lasting wear as I tend to easily damage my manicured nails under regular nail brands. CND Shellac nail polish is applied and cured in their own LED lamp keeping the polish’ color and shine for a least two weeks.

Meanwhile, their Luxury Facial is a rejuvenating, 75-minute procedure performed in the Facial Suite. It is a serene and private room with a collection of Shiffa products, a well-known Arabian wellness brand. It’s what they use for all the treatments: from cleansing, massaging, masking and moisturizing. You also have the option to choose from a complimentary hand or foot massage during the course of the treatment. My favorite part was the application of the Shiffa Signature Gemstone Diamond Face Oil, which was followed by a hot and cold press that really made my face feel invigorated afterwards.

Four Spa is a ladies’ haven not only for DQ residents but to those seeking it from the city too. It has built a strong reputation and a sophisticated clientele through the years that can only mean that our need for an instant style boost is just a chic, corner away.
