On the occasion of 52nd National Day, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, H.H. Sayyid Faisal bin Turki, hosted a remarkable evening to pay tribute to Oman’s history, traditions, and achievements.
For decades, the Sultanate of Oman has maintained good neighborly relations, respected the sovereignty of states, and maintained non-interference in the internal affairs of other states, positive cooperation, and mutual interests. A series of outstanding achievements and a relentless pace of development continues on a solid basis and through the constructive efforts of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said. The Sultanate of Oman is committed to upholding the values of justice, dialogue and humanity, while maintaining international security. The vision of the Sultanate of Oman is to become a reliable local and international partner.
During his speech, His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki highlighted the importance of bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia based on deep ties, historical cooperation, respect, and understanding. “Saudi Arabia was the first country visited by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, which confirms the high value and importance of Saudi Arabia. The special relationship between the two countries was strengthened by the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Oman. During the visit, the Empty Quarter Port was opened, which has a strategic position that will increase commercial activities, tourism, trade, shipping, and logistics services,” stated the Ambassador.
Deputy Governor of Riyadh, H.E. Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Sudairi, and representatives of the Saudi government were the guests of honor. His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki invited guests to explore the display of achievements of Oman. Diplomats, heads of missions, and representatives of business communities of the two countries had the opportunity to get acquainted with all the colors and beauty of the Sultanate and the talent of the Omanis, admiring the works of the famous Omani fashion designer and founder of Reema Integrated Projects, Reema Al Sajwani and other artisans from Oman.
