The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt commemorated the 74th Anniversary of the July 23 Revolution with a distinguished reception hosted by H.E. Ambassador Ihab Aboserie and his wife at the Cultural Palace in Riyadh. The event was attended by H.H. Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh, while H.E. Abdulmjeed bin Rashid Al-Samari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs, represented H.H. Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs. The reception also welcomed members of the Royal Family, senior Saudi government officials, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom.
In his keynote address, Ambassador Aboserie emphasized that the celebration reflects the depth of the historic and strategic relationship between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, built on longstanding ties of brotherhood, cooperation and close coordination between the leaderships of both countries. He noted that Egyptian-Saudi relations continue to witness remarkable progress across the political, economic, investment and cultural sectors, guided by a shared vision to strengthen the strategic partnership and advance the mutual interests of both nations and their peoples.
The Ambassador also highlighted Egypt’s ongoing modernization and comprehensive development under the leadership of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He pointed to the country’s major national projects, infrastructure expansion and economic reform initiatives, which have contributed to sustainable development while enhancing Egypt’s regional and international role. Stressing the importance of further expanding bilateral cooperation in development and investment, he also reaffirmed the need for continued coordination on regional and international issues to promote peace, security and stability throughout the region. Concluding his remarks, Ambassador Aboserie reaffirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains a strategic partner for Egypt and expressed his confidence that bilateral relations will continue to flourish in the years ahead.
The evening’s program included a promotional presentation on the El Alamein International Air Show, along with documentary films highlighting Egypt’s major national development projects and achievements across a range of sectors. Guests were offered a glimpse into the country’s ambitious vision for economic growth, infrastructure development and international engagement. The celebration concluded with a musical performance featuring beloved Egyptian classics and patriotic songs, creating a festive atmosphere that was warmly appreciated by the distinguished audience and serving as a fitting tribute to Egypt’s national heritage and its enduring partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
