The highly anticipated AlUla Wellness Festival 2023 has returned for its third edition. A multitude of holistic workshops, captivating events, and interactive activities deeply influenced by AlUla’s abundant historical and natural heritage have launched AlUla Moments’ flagship festival in spectacular fashion, alongside interactive activations and inspiring talks by world-renowned experts about things physical, spiritual, and sensory.

Renowned for fostering well-being of the mind, body, and soul, this year’s third edition ran for 16 days and was considered as the biggest and best yet as visitors are taken on a unique, unforgettable, and transformational wellness journey. For all in attendance, this journey was very fulfilling thanks to the winning combination of festival mainstays and brand new additions.

“We’re delighted that our Wellness Festival is finally here and we’re equally thrilled with such a strong turnout on the first of many incredible days ahead,” said Rami AlMoallim, Vice President, Destination Management and Marketing at the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) during the festival’s opening week.

“People today value their health and well-being more than ever and their appetite for opportunities to become recharged, replenished, and leave them feeling completely reinvigorated is only increasing. This is why we’ve once again gone above and beyond to provide the ultimate wellness spectacle through this festival, which is back to inspire people and change lives in line with AlUla’s legacy as a place of rest and revitalisation. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to hosting wellness enthusiasts from all over the world.”

The first-weekend highlights for wellness seekers and health-conscious aficionados included the return of the Five Senses Sanctuary and its unique program of immersive sensory-based activities. Yoga, meditation, sound healing, fitness, and mindfulness sessions were among those provoking the senses, activating conversations, inspiring change, and leaving participants feeling rested, relaxed, and refreshed both physically and psychologically. Additionally, The Rooh Immersion in the Canyon, brought a spiritual experience to the canyons of AlUla on the 20th of October, and was a combination of Kundalini yoga, 5Rhythms, breathwork, and sound healing.

Another new addition met with immediate popularity was the Reviving Nature Experience as attendees embraced creative workshops to help tackle environmental waste and be part of a visionary new sculpture and public space. Elsewhere, the Nomuhub Wellness Program, Heritage Restoration Experience, and Anyah Cooking Classes, were among the other activations attracting high interest from the AlUla visitors.

Other activities available include the Eco-Gardening, where visitors can connect with the natural environment, learn about AlUla’s unique agricultural area, and participate in farming activities.
