ca/le/ndar is a new and trendy addition to the food scene of Riyadh. Its founder Mohammad Al Robaian talks about his experience starting, running and growing a business in the Kingdom and its importance to the Vision 2030 goals.
Can you tell us about yourself?
I consider myself as a culture collector; visiting countries but mostly collecting experiences wherever I go. I design and develop thoughts and things. I am the founder and CEO of |done is a [noun]|, a design and development discipline based in Riyadh with branches in Istanbul and Kuwait. I graduated with a master’s degree in Brand Identity Development and Communication Strategy. I have worked with global companies with exciting accounts like DDB Worldwide in New York, Google, Lowe Campbell Ewald in Los Angeles, Citibank and PIMCO.
My personal business portfolio includes restaurants/cafe’s in Riyadh, a line of retail and merchandise, furniture, cosmetics as well as a design and development office. I enjoy designing, developing and managing each business concept I own from scratch.
