On May 16th, Club DQ Living brought together Riyadh’s vibrant community landscape with Empower Mornings: Connect & Belong, held at the Marriott Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter in collaboration with Dur Communities by Taiba and Anderson Education. Moderated by Palavi Kele, Cross‑Cultural Psychologist and Cultural Intelligence Facilitator, the session set out to spotlight the city’s dynamic groups and organizations — and to create a welcoming space where people could discover where they truly belong.
More than 60 members and guests gathered for a morning shaped by curiosity, conversation, and shared passions. Attendees explored a diverse lineup of participating groups, each showcasing the unique ways they contribute to Riyadh’s cultural and social fabric: Writers in Riyadh, Al Jalees, Alliance Française d’Arabie Saoudite, Bonjour Arabia, The Riyadh Group for British Business, Riyadh Rovers, Saudi Culture Club, R7 Run Club, and Synergy Art Club.
From creative expression and cultural immersion to business networking, wellness, and outdoor adventure, every community offered a distinct doorway into connection. Whether someone was seeking artistic inspiration, professional growth, or simply a circle of like‑minded people, the event made one thing clear — Riyadh is full of spaces where individuals can find their people and feel at home.
