After the successful launch of WSB Connect in May 2018, the Women’s Skills Bureau (WSB) once again brought together over 50 women for an evening of engagement and “speed networking”.
On September 12, 2018, in the private dining room of Serafina Italian Restaurant, WSB Founder Sally Kenne.dy kicked off the evening with a warm welcome and speech of empowerment. Yousra Harmouch, WSB Volunteer Coordinator, informed guests of the new Amaleed initiative opportunity for volunteering. The speed networking session followed the speeches. Ladies spent 5 minutes engaging with a new contact, before switching seats to meet someone else. After the speed networking, MOVE Founder Nelly Attar directed a team building activity. WSB Board Member Hala Oueini photographed the evening.
This was the first time WSB has organized a “speed networking” under the WSB Connect event and the results were overwhelmingly positive. After the networking, guests enjoyed an appetizing three-course dinner. If your organization would like to support WSB Connect, please email info@wsbksa.com.
