H.E. Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hosted a distinguished reception celebrating the 65th National Day of Kuwait and the 35th Anniversary of Liberation Day. During this significant occasion, H.E. Sheikh Sabah delivered an impactful speech, emphasizing the pride and honor that Kuwaitis feel in commemorating these two important events, which reflect the nation’s journey, the determination of its people, and the wisdom of its leadership.
“On this momentous occasion, I extend my congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah. It brings me great pleasure and privilege to celebrate the 65th anniversary of independence and the 35th anniversary of the liberation of the State of Kuwait – two cherished occasions that embody the journey of a nation, the determination of its people, and the wisdom of its leadership,” H.E. Sheikh Sabah highlighted in his compelling address.
Ambassador Al-Sabah also noted that while festive events are important, they should not overshadow awareness of the region’s challenges. He expressed hope for constructive cooperation among regional leaders to replace disputes with peace, ensure security and stability for all, and create conditions for a harmonious and prosperous future.
