The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia commemorated the 54th National Day of Oman with a celebratory event. His Highness Ambassador Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said warmly welcomed guests at the Embassy, marking the occasion by reflecting on Oman’s progress since its establishment and the start of its renaissance in 1970 under the guidance of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said. His legacy is now being carried forward with exceptional zeal and wisdom by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Sayyid Faisal emphasized the enduring and cherished bonds of kinship and history between Oman and Saudi Arabia. He described these ties as exemplifying harmony and unity, built on decades of cooperation, mutual respect, and open communication. These relations have been further strengthened with the establishment of the Saudi-Omani Coordination Council, set to enhance shared vision of collaboration.
The Ambassador also highlighted that Oman’s future is inspired by the honored traditions and revered history of its ancestors. Oman is committed to contributing to global peace and prosperity through international cooperation. Saudi officials, heads of mission, ambassadors, diplomats, and community members enjoyed the event, deeply engaging with Oman’s rich history as it confidently strides towards a vibrant and promising future.
