In honor of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, the governor of Riyadh, L’Art Pur Foundation in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives presents the Saudi Heritage – Contemporary Fine Art Exhibition titled “Love Your Heritage 5”. The event is being held at the Mud Houses, King Abdulaziz Historical Center, Al Murabaa in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
“Love Your Heritage” is an initiative of Princess Adwa bint Yazid bin Abdullah, founder of L’Art Pur Foundation. Her choice of the King Abdulaziz Museum, a mud house building, as the location of this initiative is perfect because it houses artifacts that show the rich history of Saudi Arabia. These historical treasures will continue to inspire the next generation to think about their past and interpret it for the future.
The exhibition showcases contemporary art inspired by the Kingdom’s culture and heritage. The group consists of 24 artists: Ibrahim Al Fassam , Aljohara Saud, Blqees Alsultan, Zeinab Al Mahoozi, Hasanin Al Ramel, Hussain Alismail, Reem Al Omran Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz, Alia Mardini, Ola Hejazi, Abeer Al Towaim, Obeid Bahumei, Fahad Kholeif, Fa-had Aljomid, Lamia Alhakbani, Abdulaziz, Mohammad Alru-bat, Maha Matran, Maram Al Noweijem, Moath Alofi, Huda Albakri, Vox Group, and Phonart group with the special participation of the Saudi Memorabilia – Private Collection of Sultan ALKathiri and Studio Keramos for ceramics.
The event is ongoing from Saturday to Thursday until March 28, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
