PUBLIC, a modern-day Italian pizzeria, has officially opened its third Saudi Arabian location in the heart of Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter. Embracing the tagline “By the Public, for the Public,” the launch event drew an eclectic crowd of ambassadors, diplomats, business leaders, and key community figures.
Taking over the former “Little Riyadh” location, the new branch exudes a cool, creative atmosphere. A standout feature is its eye-catching centerpiece—a vibrant collage of music album covers crowning a permanent DJ booth. The open kitchen adds to the lively ambiance, offering guests a front-row view of the coal-fired oven where PUBLIC’s signature pizzas are made fresh.
Among the menu highlights were the bestselling “Famous Original” pizza, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil, and the indulgent “Alabama Mama” featuring slow-cooked short ribs and Alabama sauce. Guests also enjoyed a full spread from PUBLIC’s menu, including fresh salads, hearty pastas, and beloved Italian classics like Veal Milanese and Chicken Parmigiana. The tiramisu emerged as a clear crowd favorite.
Setting the tone for the evening, DJ Kaya spun an eclectic mix of international hits, while Saudi artist Abdulmohsen Al Rowais gave a live art performance—hand-painting t-shirts that were gifted to attendees as memorable souvenirs.
Reservations for PUBLIC can be made via The Chefz app.
