Genesis Middle East & Africa is thrilled to announce the launch of the redesigned GV70 that took place in Qatar on 20 November 2024. The redesigned GV70, with its sleek silhouette and advanced technological features, strongly reflects and embodies the brand’s design philosophy of “Athletic Elegance.”
To commemorate the regional debut of the redesigned GV70, the Korean luxury automotive brand hosted an immersive unveiling event in Al Shaqab, Qatar with key media representatives. Held at an exclusive, custom-designed venue, the event showcased a profound experience in a stunning setting, perfect for the launch. The evening featured the unveiling of the redesigned GV70 SUV, followed by a gala dinner and celebratory performances.

Refined Interior and Exterior Designs
The new GV70 features intricate design elements such as the dual-weave mesh radiator grille, also known as the G-Matrix Crest Grille, and the use of Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology in the iconic Two-Line headlamps. The front bumper is enhanced with a robust skid plate and horizontally expanded air ducts, and a new rear spoiler. The GV70 also features a 27-inch OLED display that integrates the cluster and infotainment system into a single horizontal layout. Paired with a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, customers can enjoy an unparalleled driving experience.

The GV70 exudes luxury with Nappa leather upholstery, a two-tone leather steering wheel with stitching detail, and mood lighting on the door upper and center garnish. Advanced safety and convenience features include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA), Front/Side/Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist and a smart card key. The touch-type air-conditioning system with a 3-zone independent system with heating, ventilation and AC to ensures optimal comfort for all passengers.
The interior of the GV70 creates a luxurious atmosphere by combining high-tech sensibility with Genesis’ distinctive Korean-inspired design principle, the Beauty of White Space. The 27-inch OLED display integrates the cluster and infotainment system in a single horizontal layout, while a touch-based heating and air-cooling system offers utmost convenience. Mood lamps extending from the upper door trim to the center fascia create an inviting ambience. The new Genesis emblem on the horn cover, intricate stitching details, and a two-tone steering wheel further elevate the sense of sophistication and luxury.

The GV70 Royal Sport trim amplifies the sporty aesthetics with features like a D-cut leather steering wheel, carbon garnish, Sport+ Mode, and an E-Limited Slip Differential. The 21-inch new wheels, rear dual muffler tips, and preview Electronic Control Suspension (ECS) enhance the dynamic driving experience. Inside, the Nappa leather seats with sporty bolsters and quilting patterns, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, and memory driver and passenger seats with ergo motion offer supreme comfort and support.
The GV70 Sport trim boasts various enhancements that maximize the vehicle’s sporty feel. The front side showcases a dark-chrome radiator grille and enlarged air intakes. The side profile stands out with new 21-inch matte black forged wheels, each featuring two black lines engraved at the rim, amplifying the vehicle’s athletic stance. The rear comes with a dark-chrome diffuser and muffler tips exclusive to the Sport trims.
