The Embassy of Morocco in Riyadh organized a National Day celebration on July 30, 2019. Ambassador Mustapha Mansouri and his wife hosted all ambassadors and other high-level officials, dignitaries, and diplomats at the Ambassador’s residence for a delightful and exciting evening.
The strong ties between Morocco and Saudi Arabia were apparent during the event as the deputy governor of Riyadh, Prince Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Abdulaziz, attended the ceremonial evening. In the ambassador’s words, “Saudi Arabia is considered by His Majesty the King of Morocco as a dear brotherly country and a very close friend with which we have nurtured and maintained very strong and diversified long-standing relations. Our two kingdoms have always had very cordial ties under our successive monarchs, and the bonds between our two peoples are both friendly and solid.”
The attendees were greeted by the ambassador, his lovely wife, daughter and military attache and treated to beautiful traditional Moroccan tea and sweets. Authentic and traditional Moroccan dishes were served to allow the esteemed guests to enjoy the wonderful cuisine and rich culture of Morocco. The wonderful evening allowed guests to connect with one another and learn more about Morocco.
