Since the opening of Riyadh Season 2022 last October, more than two million people have already visited its zones and various entertainment activities and events.
This year’s Riyadh Season edition is being held under the slogan “Beyond Imagination” and promises 14 fun zones for all. There are zones brought back from last year like Boulevard Riyadh City and Winter Wonderland and there are new ones being introduced gradually like Boulevard World, Riyadh Zoo, and Suwaidi Park. In the Diplomatic Quarter, The Groves opened its garden once again and is hosting a new zone called Little Riyadh.
Riyadh Season 2022 officially opened last October 21 with a grand event led by a spectacular Cirque Du Soleil show and a performance by Anne-Marie of the 2021 and Rockabye fame. The event was punctuated with amazing fireworks displays at the Boulevard area and in some of Riyadh’s iconic skyscrapers and also a drone show.

BLVD WORLD
This new zone promises to be the premier entertainment zone for everyone! And it already is! With lots of areas inside to discover, like the world’s largest man-made lake surrounded by the featured 10 countries, The Sphere, AREA15, and more, BLVD World is the best venue to visit! If you only have one zone to go to this whole Riyadh Season, this is it! No need to fly to “travel abroad.” (It also has a cable car that connects it to BLVD RUH CITY!)

THE GROVES
The Groves is opening its doors to its charming and magnificent grounds again. Be enchanted with their entertainment shows and global dishes. Experience Riyadh’s first “ice bar”. There’s also a dedicated space for World Cup fans! Download The Groves phone app to check schedules and book tickets.

RIYADH ZOO
An oldie but a goodie place to take your children, Riyadh Zoo, founded in 1987, has been improved and renovated in time for Riyadh Season 2022! It features more than 1300 animals from 190 species in 6 sub-zones. Don’t be afraid: feed the white tiger, monkeys, and giraffes!

The historical Al Murabaa zone is also back in this season. Featuring famous international restaurants and cafes like Carbone, Hoo Lee Fook, Trattoria 13 Gobbi, The Maine Mayfair, Bentoteca and more, Al Murabaa is where you dine finely and luxuriously.

SUWAIDI PARK
One of the new zones this year is a park in Suwaidi (it also has a free entrance!). It has been a popular place for families to visit with its playgrounds and picnic area. Much more now that it has a lot of activities and gaming booths. Every week, a different country takes center stage to feature their culture like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Indonesia and the Philippines. Wonder which country is next?

The FIFA World Cup fever has reached Saudi Arabia too! Mrsool Park in Riyadh is dedicated to the huge sport event and it has created the full atmosphere of the World Cup for fans to enjoy. Riyadh’s oldest open market will open its doors to show the history and civilization of Najd through shopping areas, handicraft market, folk dances, and street art.
